The Sports Factory ITC Session with Coaches

Topic Focused Training Modules

Our brand new Intensive Soccer Clinics are being offered this Presidents Day and during Spring Break. Each module will focus solely on a specific topic. With the exception of the ‘Small-Sided Games’ there is no scrimmaging involved.

Our ISC curriculum has been produced using new training methodology and a deep understanding of how different attributes have evolved and become an integral part of player development. Many of the clinics are intertwined allowing participants to use their newly learnt skills from one area to full affect in another.

Get Started

SAQ (Speed, Agility & Quickness)

An intense program that includes training with and without the soccer ball, utilizing specific equipment to help athletes improve their movement, acceleration and change of direction

Ball Mastery

Various ball manipulation techniques will be taught during this individually focused training clinic. Players will be expected to learn, demonstrate and execute skills at pace, giving them advantages in all aspects of the game.

Shooting & Finishing

A complete series of repetitive goal scoring opportunities is part of this specialized clinic. Each participant will be shown the art of shooting and finishing with improvisation, power & finesse in a creative, decisive fashion

First Touch

Improving the first touch is one of the most important skills to master, and is a catalyst for every positive play in the game – from breakaways, to take-ons, & of course, scoring goals. Our First Touch clinic allows players to gain control of the ball swiftly, then to accurately and decisively make decisions to be one step ahead of their opponent.

1v1/ 2v2/ 3v3 Numbers Up

Utilizing a number of different dribbling skills and techniques are key to the success of attacking players when faced with little time or space. In these clinics, participants will learn how to take on opponents with these skills, along with understanding when to use team-mates, how to move without the ball to create space, and to take advantages in scenarios where the attack outnumbers the defense.

Passing/Receiving

Learn how to control the ball, receiving with different parts of your feet, and body, and then executing the correct technique to pass the ball successfully. These skills will unlock a soccer players full potential.

Possession

Keeping the ball allows teams to dominate games, creating different scenarios by moving the ball slowly, quickly, forwards, sideways and backwards while always looking to gain an advantage. This clinic focuses on how players analyze the field as the ball shifts to new areas during conditioned scenarios.

Building Through Possession

The progression from our ‘Possession’ module, this clinic focuses on learning how to break defensive lines, and movement off the ball to create “forward thinking” possession. Starting with the defense and goalkeeper, building up through the midfield into the forwards, everything is focused on vision, awareness and not losing the ball.

Go To Goal

This clinic will show players how to quickly transition to an attacking situation with the sole objective of creating goal-scoring opportunities. Players will learn how to turn defense into attack as possession is regained and space is open.

Small-Sided Games

The only clinic in the series that incorporates scrimmages. Players will be shown the importance of shape, decision-making and team-play during these small-sided games.

Defending & Pressing

Part of the modern game is how individual players of all positions are expected to press and defend. In this clinic players will be shown the importance of how to close space without committing themselves and when to make that important ball-winning challenge.
